We are the organisation for all things badminton in Scotland for everyone who wants to get involved whatever age, ability or gender. We love playing, watching and supporting badminton. We want everyone in Scotland to do the same and become part of the badminton community, whether as a player, coach, volunteer or supporter.
The unique qualities of badminton make it accessible and enjoyable for anyone and everyone. And we work collaboratively with our partners and stakeholders to provide traditional and innovative opportunities for all to be involved; from primary school programmes to adult social badminton, from clubs to counties, and from our world class coaching development to our major events delivery.
With partners, our aim is to raise Scotland’s reputation as a world leading events destination. Events have positive economic, social, and cultural impacts across the country throughout the year. Economically, they support thousands of jobs. This is both directly within the events industry itself, as well as wider sectors including hospitality and tourism.
We support and help develop a strong and dynamic events industry for Scotland by:
- attracting, bidding for, and securing major sporting, cultural and business events for Scotland
- helping to develop a diverse portfolio of events
- providing funding opportunities, guidance, access to resources and insight, along with other support
UK Sport is the nation’s trusted high-performance experts, powering our greatest athletes, teams and sports to achieve positive success. We host major global sporting events across the UK to create opportunities for everyone to experience extraordinary sporting moments that reach, unite and inspire.
